Someone wrote this down

onlinestill happeningpower difference: yes

An account with a much bigger following than mine quote-posted something I made, calling it embarrassing. That was months ago. Their followers still show up — not a flood anymore, just a slow drip. One or two a week, the same recycled joke. I blocked the original account, which felt good for a day and then somehow worse, like leaving a room you can still hear laughing. I've mostly stopped posting the thing I actually love making. Friends say it died down. It did. I don't know how to explain that the drip is almost harder than the flood was.

What they wish they’d said“I made something and put it into the world. That takes more than mocking it ever will.”

What would help: encouragement
