Six short lessons on what bullying is, what it is not, and what a safe response can look like. Go at your own pace, skip around, close the tab and come back. Nothing here asks you to share anything about yourself.

The lessons build on each other, but nothing is locked. Take them in any order.

  1. Lesson 1 · about 5 min

    What bullying is

Name the three elements — unwanted behavior, power imbalance, repetition or its likelihood — and the four forms they can take.

  2. Lesson 2 · about 4 min

    What bullying is not

Tell a possible bullying pattern apart from conflict, feedback, boundaries, consequences, and one rude act.

  3. Lesson 3 · about 5 min

    Power and patterns

Spot power that comes without a title, and patterns built from incidents too small to name on their own.

  4. Lesson 4 · about 5 min

    What it can feel like

Recognize common emotional responses — including going quiet and reacting late — as normal, not as verdicts on you.

  5. Lesson 5 · about 6 min

    Safe ways to respond

Choose a response by safety and outcome — knowing that silence, documentation, blocking, reporting, and leaving are complete responses.

  6. Lesson 6 · about 5 min

    Supporting someone else

Support someone without taking over their story, and use bystander options that work even when a direct challenge is unsafe.

These guides help you recognize patterns and find safe options. They cannot judge a real situation or give legal advice.
